Connecting Bay Area Psychotherapists in Private Practice
A dedicated network for Bay Area psychotherapists to coordinate referrals, share clinical resources, and connect with trusted peers—all in one organized hub.

Built for private practice clinicians & associates
For years, private practice therapists have relied on email listservs to find colleagues, share referrals and ask for clinical resources. Listservs keep us connected, but referral requests get buried under hundreds of daily emails, searching is cumbersome, and it is almost impossible to tell which requests are still open. BAAPPT was created to give Bay Area therapists — both independent practitioners and associates practicing under supervision — a cleaner, more organized alternative.
Organized referral requests
Post what you are looking for with specialties, insurance, location and availability. Search active requests in seconds instead of scrolling back through listserv emails, and see at a glance which are still open.

Join and create your profile
Membership is free. Whether you are a licensed clinician or a registered associate practicing under supervision, add your credentials, specialties, approaches, who you work with, fees and practice details, plus an optional short video introduction so colleagues get a real sense of your work.
Post or browse referral requests
Looking for a colleague with openings or a particular clinical focus? Post a request — never with client names or identifying details — or browse the active board. Mark it filled or closed with one click when you have a match.
Build your private contacts
Import colleagues from Google, Apple or a spreadsheet, or invite them directly. Your contacts stay completely private to you and are never shown in the directory.
Take part in the community
Find office space, join a consultation group, sign up for a CEU course or come to a local gathering.
